I’m a GP without a car living in Tooting who has developed COVID symptoms. The testing centre in Dulwich has already closed and will only test on Sat-Monday!! Now I have to find a car and drive to the O2 in Greenwich if I want to be tested. Ramping up testing?

On my way to a home visit and have been in the practice since 7.15 this morning. It is not just hospitals that are feeling the strain. GP under serious pressure too

As an NHS doctor I must point out what a terrible leader you have and continue to be.Surely even you understand the irony

Andy Burnham absolutely letting rip at the government for withholding the support Manchester needs... looking like the Clark Kent of Stockport. 😍

We have a list size of 20,000 and could have everyone vulnerable vaccinated within a few weeks.
Number of vaccines received = 0.
Number of vaccines coming any time soon = 0

The country is desperate for a Labour government. Those of us working in or relying on the NHS are desperate for a Labour government. This is your focus 🤯
A week ago we awoke to the unimaginable and heartbreaking news of terrorist attacks on Israel from Gaza by Hamas.
We repeat our call for Hamas to release all hostages immediately, and for the protection of innocent civilian lives in Israel and Gaza.
My statement:
I usually ignore the homophobic trolling I receive on Twitter - but this needs called out.
An elected DUP MLA tweeting about my “desires” and calling me a “creep”. It is obsessive, inappropriate and just plain weird.
Kate Hoey now wants to unpick the GFA. 72% of NI voted for it in a binding referendum. Really disturbing from a labour MP. Apparently only some referendum results should be respected.
‘Jacob Rees-Mogg you're right. You don't need to visit the border... you need to have lived here.’
Belfast-born actor Stephen Rea explores the real impact of Brexit and the uncertainty of the future of the Irish border in a short film written by Clare Dwyer Hogg.

Hi Matt, where can we send the technology requests? I’d like to get rid of the fax machine, get a computer that doesn’t operate at snails pace and maybe a decent printer.
Ireland faces the same healthcare issues north an south. And ageing population, increasingly complex to manage. A hospital system struggling and a falling number of GPs esp in rural areas. All island solutions are needed.
@Think32_
Definite need for joined up all-Ireland thinking on this island when it comes to specialist healthcare provision & training of specialist healthcare staff

Except in terms of marriage equality, indigenous language and abortion rights etc. No other UK region has a land border- already different
How can this Government be trusted to uphold the GFA in the context of brexit when they are actively arguing against it in court?

Just in from the Immigration Minister on the birthright provisions of the Good Friday Agreement
The UK Government's position is that identity under the agreement is a separate concept from citizenship
Intention of the Govt to move away from this provision couldn't be clearer
Thank you to my MP
@DrRosena
for responding so quickly and taking my concerns about this government’s attempts to erode the Good Friday Agreement seriously. The

One of our GPs resigned and we have not received one application to our advert for 3 months. We are in a great location in London. We can’t recruit. You are lying.
We’re making real progress in getting patients to see their GP quicker.
✅ Almost 2 million more appointments were delivered this February vs. February last year.
🗓️ That’s 100,000 more appointments each working day.
📈 With more GPs and primary care staff to come.
