The new iPad “X” update of Twitter app has broken it. Once one scrolls in the content panel the sidebar icons are disabled. Switching from Search to Home or Notifications is impossible without closing/reopening the app. Rebooting the iPad doesn’t fix the problem. Major bug.
Since Twitter has switched to X, the sidebar buttons on iPad don’t work most of the time.
Is there any indication Elon Musk actually planned this and didn’t just suddenly decide, “We’re now X!” a week ago and everyone had to scramble to make it happen?
