How did HR get ‘trans inclusion’ so wrong? The reckoning starts today, as we expose deep ideological capture at the HR industry body @CIPD - and its CEO’s friendship with trans activist Katie Neeves. It’s a scandal (involving knickers & the police!) 🧵(1/3)

Sometimes it's hard to spot an activist lawyer - and other times it's really easy. It's been a weird week on Linkedin, but characters like this have been unexpectedly helpful. Sensible employers are making good choices about where (and where not) to place their trust.

Employers and employees must be able to trust the employment tribunal system and its output. If standards have collapsed, public confidence will follow. Little typos can have a big impact.

Too many employers have let workplaces get out of control, as described here. Now they need to get tough, reset standards and clear out problem people. The timing of the Employment Rights Bill could not be worse.

The HR Cult That Turned Work Into Therapy There is no cleaner picture of the modern woke workplace than an HR giant that preaches "wellbeing" while dragging staff to security for being one minute late. SHRM calls itself the global authority on work. Inside, you find a pregnant

Cowards liked the idea of 'allyship' because it was easy. Now it's getting harder, they are showing they were always cowards. The activists should not be surprised. The support they thought they had was never as strong as it looked.

@IsntWorkingPod @Clifford_Chance @Google @BarclaysUK @bp_plc There seems to be a lot of trans demanding that 'allies' step up. But allyship is not something that is given because someone demands it, it's given because the ally chooses to give it. If they now don't give it, they clearly believe the cause is not worthy of allyship any more.

More sad scenes from the Trans in the City 'gala' in November - once hosted by @Clifford_Chance and sponsored by @Google, Sky, @BarclaysUK and @bp_plc. There are no logos this year because zero brands backed it. Sounds like they might not bother for 2026. Time to call it quits?

Cheering piece from Tanya (@IsntWorkingPod) 🔽. While ‘performative allyship activity’ soldiers on in the public sector (& in Scottish Employment Tribunals), there are plenty of signs that the corporate world is rapidly moving on.

Excellent article by my friend Tanya. Deserved smackdown on the EDI/DEI bullshit out there Assess risk of employee conflict, equip HR and managers to sort it, & move on. That's what HR needs to do, except they are so poorly trained by the @CIPD that this is going to take forever

I think going forward, all women must specifically ask if companies have single-sex restrooms/changing rooms before starting a new job. Make them clearly state that they do not allow males to self-identify into these spaces.

Prediction: Whatever the law says, if hospitals can't guarantee changing rooms are genuinely single-sex, qualified women will leave nursing in droves, and new ones won't replace them. In employer speak, the 'talent pipeline' will dry up. Just watch.

The FANG 1.0 vs. 2.0 ratio appears locked in a declining wedge pattern. One may wonder what percentage of investors (who contributed over $250B in net flows into large-cap core and growth ETFs this year) are aware of this (source ycharts).
