I cannot believe I came to Parliament to have to point out that we should NEVER use experimental/irreversible drugs *in trials on children under 13* which halt their puberty. But I will because I need to be able to sleep at night.

While the supermarket giants anticipate jingling till bells over Christmas, their hard working female staff are having to share private workplace facilities with men who call themselves ‘women’. These giants would rather not be reminded of their legal obligations to female

This is big. Gordon Brown (clearly unpersuaded by Lord Falconer’s hectoring) calls on parliament to halt the AS bill:

More colleagues have joined me and @stuartandrew in opposing an NHS puberty-blocker trial on vulnerable children. Medicine should protect, not experiment to satisfy activist dogma. We will not stand for it. @wesstreeting must put a stop to this dangerous trial immediately.

No child is born in the wrong body. I cannot believe we are back to square one, with NHS England backing an experimental trial of puberty blockers on healthy, vulnerable children, ignoring the damage already done. The No1 rule of medicine is "do no harm". This is activist

Love it. Yet another monumental u-turn for those of us threatened, cajoled, begged and pleaded with to vote (as Starmer directed) by Labour Party management for Boris' crap #Brexit deal. And then ghosted/briefed against/sidelined when we refused...

Keir Starmer told cabinet this morning that Nick Thomas-Symonds, paymaster general and Brexit minister, will now be attending on a permanent basis. PM spoke of his "important work" on the EU reset deal. Brexit more and more important to this government...

Good to know how far we've come in 2025. Just asked (by a v sweet producer, not her fault) if I'd go on Breakfast TV to comment on whether 'women in their 40s, like Sienna Miller and Ellie Goulding are selfish' for having children later in life. I mean...🤦🏼‍♀️

Goodbye to our beloved British pubs. I honestly do not see how they can survive the hammer blow of last week's Budget.

'He has a point, but he's too blunt.' From the start, a key tactic of the gender identitarians has been linguistic prescription, and it's proved shockingly successful. Trans activists' shibboleths and euphemisms have been allowed to penetrate the upper echelons of our culture

Interesting interview with @Glinner on @GBNEWS a few minutes ago about the trans debate. It's interesting how the tide is turning in his favour. I've seen old friends who shunned him admit he has a point but that he was too blunt. Even that would was unthinkable a few years ago

Keir Starmer literally cannot hold to a position for longer than an hour. At 11.00 o'clock he was standing there saying how raising benefits to lift children out of poverty was his "personal moral mission". Now he's saying welfare reform is his moral mission.

Under the Tories, the welfare bill went up by £88 billion. They left children too poor to eat. They wrote young people off as too ill to work. That costs the country money and is bad for productivity. And it's a massive waste of potential. This is a moral mission. We need to
