Even in the last 3 years no big growth in the IT sector/GCC/high end jobs. In the early 2000s we were competing with BLR. Now we are competing with Pune (harsh truth). Reason 1. Airport (both DMK and ADMK at fault, MK opposed privatization of MAA airport fearing Commies)2.2015.

Legalities aside, this conviction of Ponmudi will affect the morale of DMK party men. If a party in power can't save a sitting minister, who will have any trust in the leadership ? I don't see any senior leader spending money in 2024. 25 + seats for ADMK is well within reach.

Another mistake by the TN government - Change all govt schools to English medium, from LKG to 12 th. Anyways college education is in the English medium why create unnecessary divisions in college level (In my days the Tamil medium guys really struggled in first year engineering)

TN doesn't have Godavari and Krishna so mega projects are out of the question. What's worrying is the government is still promoting rice in the delta and not taking steps to de-silt the existing dams and lakes. Rivers converted as drainage pathways are the next big worry 😞
