she/her - queer activist and abolitionist. holding space for Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, and LGBTQIA2S+folx. I have grace until I don’t.
You know what I appreciate so much
@CoryBooker
and how he spoke during the
#ConfirmationHearing
? Is how he not only held space for her, to allow her a chance to breathe, but he reminded us that we get to keep our joy. Black women, let’s keep our fucking joy.
In about 15 years we’re going to see a surge of parents confused as to why their kids aren’t talking to them anymore.
And those kids will have the videos of their parents humiliating them on social media in their gallery.
That lady broke up with that hideous man without once acknowledging his racism and enjoyment of trauma against Black women, so I really hope there’s no “she did the right thing” discourse. The right thing would have been to never be involved with him.
The amount raised aside…what exactly is the fundraiser for? She isn’t facing charges. She hasn’t filed any lawsuits. People are donating money for her hurt feelings. The absurdity of this.
@Rockmedia
Just a quick question - do you feel a dog has the capacity to assess a situation and then decide what best to do?
In the midst of chaos and screaming, you think the dog can follow a safety plan? Is that your thought process?
Lizzo quite literally does nothing but live her life unapologetically, & she is hit with the most vile vitriol daily. All because instead of people finding joy in their own lives, they do all they can to cause pain in others.
It’s truly disgusting & she deserves so much better.

Do you know how dense you are? Why do you hear this and instantly think that? Saying stuff like this is what’s not letting kids be kids. There’s SEVERAL steps between this and any type of transitioning.
A Los Angeles deputy shot and killed Niani Finlayson within roughly three seconds of entering her home after she had called 911 for help during a domestic violence incident, video shows

I have raised a child in the past.
I can also be a person that hasn’t raised kids and still know that kids deserve the respect of being believed.

If you see affirmation of one as a rejection of another, you’re shortsighted. If you can’t see the difference between being lazy, as you state, and unable to grow a beard that is wanted, again, shortsighted. And obtuse.
The ways that Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark are being spoken about is a perfect example of the adultification of Black people and the infantilization of white people.
They absolutely know the consequences, and they know that the consequences affect Black people. Not them.
I need people to stop infantilizing white people and the way they weaponized their tears and privilege.
white people do not understand the consequences of falsely accusing people of color and reporting them. White womens tears are a danger, they were dangerous when Emmitt Till was lynched, they are dangerous now when accusations of antisemitism are flying.
My dad takes the Francis Scott Key bridge every single night for work around that time, like clockwork. He overslept last night and ended up leaving the house an hour later. That was honestly nothing but God.
Okay, it’s time to mute this. Too many people are stumbling over their lack of knowledge, and letting that show up as insulting, rude, and unnecessary.
Men get real salty, catty, and disgusting trying to defend other men’s misogyny.
This dude could have minded his business, now people are in the QTs talking about how his beard and goatee don’t connect. A shame, really.
@thismigrainelyf
I am going to gently redirect you and say it doesn’t matter either way. I do not care if she was engaged to him or if he was just her dick of the week. The focus is on the fact that she was involved with him at all and did not once acknowledge or denounce the behavior.

…..you realize that there are fights for civil rights DAILY, correct? Like. Same with the sentiment, this pandemic is simply highlighting the very real lack of care for human civility.

It’s astounding that you got here by me saying “the kid told their parent who they were.”
Did you pull a muscle with that stretch? And furthermore, does one need to be a parent to care about kid’s having their own autonomy? Don’t be this dense.
Cassandra thinks she’s onto something with this post. The only thing she’s doing is broadcasting her insecurities. To attempt to pit yourself against someone who doesn’t know you and is simply existing to be fatphobic says everything about her. And nothing about Lizzo.
What’s wild, and also expected, to me is how people who say they want to do anti racism work feel they can demand labor and education from Black, Indigenous, and other people of color.
So a reminder. Learning from us is a gift. We shouldn’t have to teach you our lives have value
What is truly fascinating about cisgender women who are also transphobic is that the very people they have disdain for are the very people they’re obsessed with. To the point that they minimize themselves solely to the use of reproduction as a way to cling to their womanhood.
Some people in the comments are calling this fake because he seems too “put together”. The fucking blood thirst you have to have to watch this and say “ehhh”.
This is a Harvard professor tweeting this.
I wonder if there’s been some ongoing event that has had people getting and staying sick over the last 4 years.
What's up with undergrads missing class constantly due to sickness? I've heard this is a thing at multiple institutions. My class has been repeatedly decimated.
When someone tells me I’m trying to play the victim, I like to meet them with “victim of what?”
They then usually go radio silent or, if they’re feeling froggy, will say “racism”, to which I then like to say “so you do acknowledge that racism is a thing.”
For any fellow cis women that see this screenshot and think “well we have to say this because how will people know we’re ‘real’ women?!”, I have an invite.
Work on your self worth, because nobody is taking anything from you by acknowledging the existence of trans women.
Besides being upset about Black folks getting their lick back, some yt folks are also upset about Montgomery and the Black response is because they’re seeing community they don’t have. They’re seeing a collective of healing and instead of creating their own, they feel rage.
Now that we know that Andrew Lester is 85 years old, I have already seen the “he’s elderly, he was likely confused, etc.”
Andrew is not the victim. Andrew Lester decided to shoot Ralph Yarl, and did so more than once, including after seeing his face. Andrew is not the victim.
One thing I’ve learned being in anti-racism education is that nobody wants your attention more than someone with no intention of ever working to become an anti-racist.
Hey remember that Naomi that interviewed that Kelly that asked Kelly about slavery to trip her up and expose her racism?
Yeahhhhhhh. Seems that interview was a “look over there!” moment. 🥴😒
I’ve already seen a video of a child opening a brick because she was “naughty” all year, and I’m once again reminded that a lot of people don’t see children as human beings. To do that in the first place is a garbage move, but to then also share it online?
Disgusting behavior.
I’m 99.9% certain she’s done this before. The posturing, removing her ID badge, grabbing the other person’s property, and rounding it out with the fake weaponized tears.
And as expected, someone w/o context steps in to defend HER. Yt women know what they’re doing.
@BlackPillBie
So when you say pro Black and pro women, do you only mean the ones you like and deem worthy of your support? If so, maybe add an addendum to your bio.
