I don't entirely get the "blank" thing. Is it because US audiences is so used to Late Show hosts that makes everything about them self? He's a laidback dude that obviously has enough presence and charm, that he can make pretty much anyone comfortable.

has not experienced it. The hardest to distinguish are floating in and out of psychosis in short intervals. I was certain someone was deleting parts of chats and txt conversations, because I had hallucinated them. It's a scary experience and but also very fascinating.

I hear that a lot, about different actors. But I feel that's a fault of the viewer, not the actor. You are choosing to watch Nicholson, Cruise or Hanks instead of the character they are portraying.
