All clear given at the University of South Carolina’s Columbia Campus, following reports earlier of an active shooter which appear to have caused by an individual with an umbrella looking object which was mistaken for a long-rifle.

If this guy carrying an umbrella is what caused people to think there was an active shooter, that would be beyond stupid.

The University of South Carolina is reporting that law enforcement is currently searching the Columbia Campus but so far there is no evidence of an active shooter, with students and staff told to continue sheltering in place until there is an All Clear.
