For #pride, let us celebrate and remember Glenn Burke, a Black baseball player who was the first MLB player to come out as gay in the 1980s. Burke passed away from complications related to AIDS in 1995.

Today's Supreme Court decision is a denial of opportunity. It’s not about being colorblind. It’s about being blind to history, blind to empirical evidence about disparities, and blind to the strength that diversity brings to classrooms.

I have over $200k of education debt because I grew up poor and believed in the American Dream. This country profits from selling poor kids high interest rate edu loans. Corrupt justices who accept lavish gifts sided with the rich and powerful over hard-working Americans.

I just can't understand why some people who pay very close attention to politics still insist on blaming Joe Biden and "Democrats" for problems that Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema have caused by refusing to eliminate the filibuster.

On the Titan, five people died on an expensive excursion. Off the coast of Greece, perhaps 500 people fleeing poverty and violence died. The rescue efforts, and the attention paid to each, fueled a debate about the realities of class and ethnicity.

Many see harsh realities about class and ethnicity in the attention paid to the Titan submersible and the halfhearted attempts to aid a ship before it sank, killing hundreds of migrants. But there...

The coordinated use of deceptive advertising tactics by anti-abortion fake clinics is not only extremely unethical— but is a direct threat to public health.

The CT House of Reps has an opportunity to stand up for #votingrights & #racialjustice by passing SB 1226, the John Lewis Voting Rights Act of CT—but it must call a vote by June 7. The #CTHouse should not miss this chance to make CT a national civil & voting rights leader!

The family didn't need passports to travel from L.A. to Puerto Rico because Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens and Puerto Rico is not an international destination.

At the same time Justice Clarence Thomas was accepting lavish gifts from a billionaire GOP donor, his colleague Justice Elena Kagan declined a gift of lox and bagels from high school buddies because she thought it could violate the court's ethics rules. https://t.co/gkwvD9My7M
