Precisely. Science is auto-corrective. It is epistemologically adversarial. There is no settled science. Inerrant truths are within the domain of religion not science.

What happens to your "bad" (LDL) cholesterol if you DOUBLE your saturated fat intake (and nearly double your calories!) on a low-carbohydrate diet? In most cases, it DROPS by ~25 points. @realDaveFeldman explains why in this excellent open-access paper. https://t.co/crgKCcgSZF

The #GBD @Lancet study, claiming that every bite of red meat 🥩 causes harm, should be corrected or #retracted, given that it is admitted that the evidence for this assumption is too weak, uncertain & insufficient to make strong/conclusive recommendations. https://t.co/2EboZHCCEH

“…exercise dose between 50 and 100 MET h/week, which equals to vigorous exercise for 6.25 to 12.5 h (or moderate exercise for 12.5 to 25 h) per week, should be optimal for reducing the risk of CAD, CHF, MI, and CRF.” 👀 📝: https://t.co/2u2zXTCtOQ

There are now (at min) 4 big systematic meta-analyses of vitamin D & Covid since Dec'21. 3 study D levels & 2 supplementation. Newest both. Strong, consistent, & highly statistically significant results: Low D raises & supplementation lowers all stages of Covid risk by ~1.5-3x 🧵

For docs that refuse to read our paper, it's not an anti-statin paper. We identified conditions in which statins have benefits & conditions in which statins do not have a benefit in people with high LDL-C. Seems to me all cardio docs should be interested. https://t.co/bSOrSVMWvO
