This is exactly my experience as well, Dave. Since switching from low-plant keto to #carnivorediet last summer I can eat much more protein, have higher ketones, and my glucose is rock-steady. Oh, and despite being 54 and peri-menopausal, I've lost 22 pounds "without trying.".

My diet and data definitely don’t jive with this assumption on acutely higher GNG while being carnivore. Current protein levels are around 170g and 35%, yet my glucometer shows a nearly flat line. Moreover, my ketones are much higher than usual. More on this at the write up.

Thank you pediatricians for speaking out in the @nytimes against fruit juice! Be aware: fruit juice is liquid sugar, just like soda is. The only way to give children a more dangerous blood sugar and insulin spike would be to give them a sugar I.V.
