I read lots of surrogacy contracts. One of the most egregious things included was asking the surrogate mother to waive her end-of-life decision-making so the people buying the babies cd decide if/when life support was terminated. Surrogate had nvr met these ppl.

Ethics used to be taught as a stand alone course but now is just half ass (imho) baked into rotations. When it was taught in an of itself you could actually teach ethical theory (utilitarian, deontological, virtue) which helps in formation of ethical wisdom (knowledge).
