To those parroting the same talking point re survivorship bias: In 2001, 24 children per year were refered to the Tavistock, in 2021 that was 160. Suicides for under 18s in 2001 was 70, in 2021 it was 100. That's in spite of a 10million population increase.

There was no epidemic of suicidal dysphoric kids in decades passed. So every single trans adult who retcons their childhood as being a 'trans kid', inadvertently invalidates the claim that denying care saves lives, because they are alive to tell the tale.
This is horrifying. Doctors who help trans kids should not face criminal charges. This is another attack on bodily autonomy and it will cost lives. Gender affirming care saves lives.

As a gay man, I do not feel safe in the UK, and I hold the TERFs responsible for fostering a culture of fear & abuse towards trans people. Their relentless campaign of misinformation & moral panic has made this country hostile not only to trans people, but to all LGBTQ+ people.

I'll never work with an organization that doesn't have the guts to advocate for vulnerable adults who are deceived into rejecting their sex. all it takes is a slight broadening of who is considered an acceptable victim to circle back around to child mutilation.
