Honestly, so many Aussies seem to want to be controlled. Permits to protest are beyond stupid. Full stop. They are violations of your God-given right to express yourself. You all need a First Amendment. Even Canada is a libertarian paradise compared to Australia.

Imagine needing a permit from the government in order to protest the government. This is a recipe for unchecked tyranny.
