More suited to Instagram but this is how Dollymount looked this afternoon in the late November gloom. No filter used. We can only hope to see the sun soon...

Mary McAleese, Marie Collins and Mna na hEireann are making a serious contribution to shining a light on abuse, misogyny and corruption in the Catholic Church. We can only hope that in time there will be reform #PopeInIreland #Stand4Truth

The signatories are NOT 1,000 Irish scientists. Nor is it an open letter: it's a petition. If you look at you'll see they include students, a "stay at home mom", hairstylists, GPs, retirees, pensions portfolio managers and my favourite - "a wise old woman"

Sisters of Charity took 5 years to set up St Vincent’s Holdings. Transfer of SVHG only took place 5 DAYS ago. Not enough time for proper scrutiny and the Oireachtas Health Committee have not examined the legal documents We worked together to #repealthe8th Simon - will you act?

@Costellop Your party leader @EamonRyan thinks differently. He has just told reporters on his way into Cabinet that he thinks the deal should go ahead without delay, i.e. without scrutiny by the Oireachtas . Very disappointed

Do we hear the first glimmer of commonsense from the government with @SimonHarrisTD saying that it is his firm view that fully-vaccinated people arriving into Ireland with negative PCR tests should not have to go into mandatory hotel quarantining @TodaywithClaire

@oconnellhugh Talk about digging a deeper hole... "aptitude" means NATURAL ability. So certain topics are a male preserve according to this? Would be funny if it wasn't so enraging

Superb and moving letter from @BrennanGaye 'They call it praying. I call it preying.' Reminding us that 'vigil' has the same etymology as vigilant Abortion and privacy
