We were saddened to hear of the passing of renowned award winning poet and Trinity Alumna, Eavan Boland. Eavan earned a First Class Honors BA in English Literature & Language from Trinity in 1966, publishing a pamphlet of 23 Poems in her first year at Trinity.

Orchids have been discovered growing on the grounds of Trinity College in Dublin city centre, much to the surprise and delight of botanists. The orchids appeared after the university stopped cutting the grass on some of its formal lawns in May.
