We identified a mechanism by which the homeostasis of class of proteins with similar low complexity domains (LCDs) is collectively regulated – β€˜interstasis’. Interstasis operates at the level of the RNA that encodes those LCDs by exploiting the structure of the genetic code.

Great to see this published! I started working on this project during the #CrickDataChallenge 3 day hackathon at The Francis Crick Institute. Can't quite believe that our scrappy proof of concept made in those 3 days eventually morphed into this! @Crick_DC @TheCrick

We're very happy to announce the release of @nf_core /cutandrun, a best practice analysis @nextflowio pipeline for #cutandrun and #cutandtag. First developed by the Henikoff lab at @fredhutch, a team at @TheCrick turned it into a reproducible, containerised Nextflow pipeline.

In a first-in-human trial, researchers find that a treatment for glioblastoma based on interfering RNAs & gold nanoparticles can penetrate the brain. This bodes well for potential treatment of these tumors but further clinical testing is needed. https://t.co/unjCBpUird @ScienceTM
