Appeal to the mass spec hive mind: has anyone successfully edited 96-well plate dimensions (specifically plate height/z-axis) for injection from the nanoElute?

Interesting paper by the group of @tatescience in @CellChemBiol. They predicted the accessibility of many cysteines in the human proteome based on AlphaFold2 structures and correlated this with their detection and ligandability inchemoproteomics.

I teach college music theory, but I'm also a new dad. I decided to combine my professional and personal identities and make a thread of music for babies where the adult musicians went way, way harder than they had to. (1/12)

In this incredibly project, the amazing @chr_messner measured quantitative proteome profiles of 5k yeast ko strains by microflow-SWATH, revealing new insights into system-level regulation of the proteome. https://t.co/22tzFO0mdd

🎉 New paper alert - work that started out as @whit3matt & @chr_messner 's CDC 2020 project is out now. The DC team developed a cool new pipeline to extract oxonium ion signals from scanningSWATH MS data to enable glycoprotein quantification. Congratulations team OxoScan-MS !🎉

A really fun project from my time in @RalserLab: we combined scanning SWATH with targeted oxonium ion extraction to generate glycopeptide maps of plasma/serum. Started from purified glycoproteins and made it all the way to a clinical cohort!

https://t.co/c747ZPm5MH It took us one year from 1st preprint, to make it submission-ready: Proudly presenting Scanning SWATH a proteomic method that quantifies >1,400 protein groups w. 30 second gradients, and >4,500 prot grps in 5 mins. Proteomics has never been that fast.

"If we truly want science, not silence, we need to ask ourselves the hard question: why do we struggle to hear the voices of the...scientists who don't look...like Einstein?" Actually, the answer isn't hard at all. It's racism.

Fantastic work by the @RalserLab using scanning #swath acquisition. Been with @SCIEXnews for 10 years now and the concept of entire quantitative proteomes in 5 minutes absolutely blows my mind! #proteomics
Fantastic read @AmericanLab and @Labcompare on the ways ultrafast #proteomics can accelerate biomedical research, #drugdiscovery and development. Featured technique is pioneered by Prof Markus Ralser @TheCrick, in collab with SCIEX. Take a look: https://t.co/GSyRUtXBFQ
