Written answer: āTo date, we have provided approximately Ā£274 million for working capital, covering items such as raw materials, salaries, and addressing unpaid bills, including for SMEs in the supply chain.ā But this Tory thinks AI slop covers it. Heavens.
Ā£1,400,000 of your money. Every day. Thatās what Labour is pouring into their botched steel nationalisation. Cost exploded by 40% on rate two months ago. No impact assessment. No plan. Their spending is out of control!

Reform UK on @StaffordshireCC have sent around messages of support for Councillor Peter Mason who we exposed as a racist, homophobe and supporter of Britain First. We've got them. It's telling how they have tried to explain away his posts. Defending the indefensible. He must

Ferrari who regularly gets the facts wrong is busy chastising the BBC for getting the facts wrong. Perhaps a bit of self reflection is good before passing judgment. @LBC

Farage, yet again, finds himself in agreement with Putin. Farage should NEVER be our Prime Minister.
Farage was uncommonly available for interview this Monday morning, busy comparing BBC with Putin. Remember him wearing his GBNews badge in Congress whilst he trashed our country. He is using this BBC debacle as yet another opportunity to trash our country for his personal gain.

My fundamental thoughts on the BBC. I am not (yet?) British, but when I lived abroad, the BBC was everything to me: informative, engaging, indispensable. It was also everything for the older members of my family when they listened to Radio Londra and its wonderful "Colonnello

Reform UKās @TiceRichard and @IsabelOakeshott campaigned last year to boycott the Poppy Appeal. Itās unforgivable.

Were you defending impartiality when you put two Conservative cronies on the BBC Board? I take it youāll back my calls to remove Robbie Gibb now?
Being āpro-BBCā means defending impartiality, not bias. If it wants to justify the licence fee, the BBC needs to reflect a broad spectrum of views in Britain. Not just the leftās. Those of us who actually believe in the institution are trying to save the BBC from itself.

Amid all the guff, just this: I am proud to work for BBC News & even prouder to work alongside so many outstanding colleagues. We are not perfect; we must always strive to be better. But in a darkening world, we remain a shaft of light. Worth mulling. All best from Kyiv.

Obviously the main news on BBC1 is watched by many more, but even the lastest figures for GBNews vs BBC News shows the BBC as number one. Over double the average reach to GB News. Hardly surprising when GBNews, through its own political bias, reduces its potential market.

The fact that the BBC has made serious culpable errors does not negate the point that there is a real and concerted right-wing media campaign to destroy it. Both points can be true at the same time and the campaign would not end even if the errors did.
