We need to connect this with this story -> https://t.co/a8Ad26YAoT Even if there is a grain of truth in this, what is going on in Dhaka is bad news.

On the humid night of August 31, silence filled a luxury hotel in Dhaka where U.S. Special Forces officer Terrence Arvelle Jackson was found dead under mysterious circumstances. Before the news...
Since last year's regime change in Dhaka, Bangladesh and Pakistan have quietly stepped up defense and intelligence cooperation — a trend with significant implications for India. Reports of an ISI–DGFI Joint Intelligence Mechanism, including an ISI cell operating in Dhaka, point

The US mentioning Indo-Pacific is always good news - no matter what it might actually mean.
As @POTUS said, "True success comes from having the confidence and the courage to prove the doubters wrong." That's exactly what we did this week with our Indo-Pacific partners. We are strengthening old friendships and pioneering new industries to forge an Indo-Pacific that is

China, accommodated. (It all happened because elites believed. Unlike Indian elites saying 'I don't want India to be strong, I want it to be supple', and 'Why India should never attempt to be a great power'.) India, usually defeated by its own. But change has come to India too.
U.S. would cut in half the 20% fentanyl tariffs on China, potentially bringing tariff on China to 45%. That would put China’s tariff rate closer to those of other trading partners and increase direct US/CHINA trade with @hannahmiao_ @GavinBade

No. This could have been a possibility if the ideological division between the Chinese and the American elite wasn't so striking and vast - and each not so very determined to dominate + Chinese demographic decline is real, as is its structural long economic transition now on.
@HindolSengupta Once Trump gets 🇨🇳 onboard, indo pacific goes for a toss. No G 2.5

Trump's roll-back of tariffs on China, which is about to happen, should be seen as the official start of the G2 world. When in the next few weeks, 'adjustment' with India happens, the G2.5 world would be indelibly underlined.
BREAKING: China purchases 180,000 tons of U.S. soybeans, in their first order in months, as show of good faith ahead of tomorrow's meeting between President Trump and President Xi.

Abdul Rahman Antulay served as CM of Maharashtra from June 1980 to January 1982. (BTW the same illiterate👇claimed Ahmedabad can never have a Muslim mayor. Ahmedabad has had two Muslim mayors - Aneesa Begum Mirza (2003–2005) and Rafiuddin Abdulrazzak Shaikh (1980–1984).)
@gplsaravanan Yes it obviously is not a fair comparison as nearly 20% of urban India is Muslim while only ~1% of urban Pakistan is Hindu. Even then, India hasn’t had say, a Muslim CM anywhere (other than Kashmir) for 40+ years.

I am sorry to see that the intern tweeting from @UN_Women does not know what any contemporary feminist will tell you -the framework has moved away from blanket ‘equalling men’ to ‘ensuring women take the table as women, with unique abilities, rather than force fitting sameness’.
Any job is a woman's job. Any job is a woman's job. Any job is a woman's job. Any job is a woman's job. Any job is a woman's job. Any job is a woman's job. Any job is a woman's job. Any job is a woman's job.

Portugal is not the anchor — the Indian Ocean world is. Goa and Macau are symbols of a time when India’s engagement with East and Southeast Asia was maritime, multicultural and open. The point is not Lusophone nostalgia, but to recover a more plural and connected Asian
Bridging Asian Memory: Rethinking India’s Act East. My essay : https://t.co/WzzmuEKmtK in which I argue that India’s “Act East” must take inspiration from the arc of historical cosmopolitanism . Through a Goa–Macau lens we rediscover a maritime, plural heritage—one that links

History will record that some said this would happen when others praised the 'monsoon revolution' of Yunus. It will be horrifying if ISKCON monks are murdered again in Bangladesh (has happened earlier). But it would not be surprising. See Bangladeshi journalist's tweet below.
Horrified by the video of a group of men publicly demanding the slaughter of ISKCON members in Bangladesh and bury them. The @ChiefAdviserGoB failure to condemn such violent rhetoric is unacceptable. They must take immediate-decisive action to demonstrate that such hatred has
