Tailors and stitching became commonplace in India with the arrival of Muslims. Even now, the best tailors you find in your town will generally be Muslims. There is no Indian word for tailor other than darzi - in any language - Gujarati, Hindi, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada.

The most common word for blouse in any Indian language is just that - blouse. Itās a European word. The word sattai isnāt an equivalent.

Nothing that is stitched has its origins in India. All of Indian clothing was unstitched - saree, dupatta, dhoti, pagdee etc. - just long pieces of cloth. Until the scissors became common, stitching was impossible.
It's litreally "Pavada Sattai" a traditional attire originating from South India, particularly in Tamil Nadu. It's a type of dress typically worn by young girls, consisting of a pavada (a long skirt) and a sattai (a blouse or top). Why do they keep stealing?????

Itās true. Buddhists built dome-like stupas. What this bigot wonāt say though is that those arenāt actual domes; theyāre not hollow inside. Theyāre mounds filled with bricks or earth inside. Can be called symbolic domes. The self-supporting true dome came with the sultans.
