Dunno what the big deal is about the Suez Canal being blocked. Just send them on the detour around Cape of Good Hope. Sure it adds a bit to the trip, but that's what we do to pedestrians and cyclists in our cities 🤔

Petrol or electric, monsters like this have no place on city streets. Australia needs to hurry up and regulate vehicle sizes. I don't give a shit if people "love" big cars, they are not appropriate, safe or reasonable on public streets.

So @Barnaby_Joyce reckons Greenies prevented hazard reduction burns. A simple search of the NSW Rural Fire Service web site reveals pages and pages of updates of hazard reduction burns in the last 6 months. Stop lying, Barnaby.

It amuses me when people imply cycling is for the rich elite while cars are for your average citizen. I just had to spend $1700 on routine maintenance on our two cars, and another $850 next month. The idea cars are "affordable transport" is the most insidious lie.

When police post about a fatal car crash nobody chimes in with anecdotes about bad driver behaviour they've seen. It's sympathy. Rightly so. So why is it when they report a fatal cyclist crash do people feel compelled to post about the cyclist they saw do something wrong?
