I don't know what we do at this point. It's proven true that no UCP MLA has a backbone to stand up to Dictator Dani, so this will pass.
Do we start writing the

Oh lord, unhinged Stephan couldn't even finish putting his shirt on this morning before his rambling nonsense in Question Period.
His own peers can't even keep a straight face.
You really know how to pick 'em, Red Deer.

I’m all for expressing your right to protest but figuring out where an MP lives and parking your beater car out front with flags and threatening statements on the windows is going too far.

I would remind him of the prayer he hears every day in the Legislature.

NEW: Edmonton mayor Amarjeet Sohi has released this statement indicating the Government of Alberta is cutting its funding for the low income transit pass program in both Edmonton and Calgary.
@TheBreakdownAB
@SPhillipsAB
“If we spent another $500 I’d have to disclose things I don’t want to to you” is a bad look and terrible fiscal governance.
New: The Alberta government is proposing amendments to the Emergency Management Act that would allow the province to assume control over municipal responses to local emergencies.
When someone is called "hostile" for asking another leadership candidate if they'd run as an NDP candidate in the next general election - you've lost the plot.
Members are still waiting for that answer.

I'm no lawyer but if I read the Act right, contravening section 45, 46, or 47 of the Election Finances and Contributions Disclosure Act is a "Corrupt Practice" with a fine up to $50k and up to 2 years in jail.
@ABDanielleSmith
This is bullshit. You're severing AHS to make privatization easier. It's already happening with rumours that payroll will be adopted by ADP.
No one voted for you on this.
My grandmother who voted UCP just told me last night she was angry that you are doing things you didn't put

I'm just watching the

debate in Calgary now.
I can't say there's any clear winner but saw Calahoo-Stonehouse had a strong message. Hoffman stood strong on core NDP values.
Nenshi didn't offer anything in terms of policy which appears very on track with his campaign.
@TheBreakdownAB
We get it Nate, a lengthy thread and a follow up thread later, you're stanning for Nenshi.
And yes, I know you said you don't have a membership.

Members should know the full record of the candidates. This isn't a cheap shot, this is disclosure.
Particularly important considering the NDP is the party of the working class, a union-busting leader would be contrary to that.
Me: "Hey there's a significant issue with your data, and here's proof."
Them: "HOW DARE YOU CHALLENGE OUR PROCESS. YOU'VE BREACHED OUR DATA!"
Me: "Sorry that I found huge holes in your vetting process."
Them: "YOU MUST SUBMIT A PDF FOR EACH ONE! THANKS!"
Folks, shit is fucked.
My Grandfather, a Sergeant with the RCMP, passed away twenty years ago this month.
My thoughts are shared on the fediverse.
Thinking and missing you always, Grandpa.
A newly unearthed letter shows that, when he was Calgary mayor,
@nenshi
asked the UCP for help breaking a contract with City workers and side-stepping worker rights. No New Democrat I know would have ever signed a letter like that. This is serious.

Why couldn’t you answer the question from the other contestants about if you would run as an NDP candidate if you didn’t win the leadership?
Where is your position on the solar ban?
Much left missing despite your hostility to the candidates that asked you these questions.

UCP Finance Minister insulted an ND member suggesting he was “slow”.

Separating from the federal party means we lose incredibly significant resources.
Hundreds of volunteers travel across the country to work the campaign, and technology like Agnes, Populus, Dandelion, etc will be taken away.

As always, you bristle at my questions and call me "far left" on the podcasts you attend, but thousands of members also have an issue with you evicting people for the sake of your developer
This is the same tactic the UCP took against Dang instead of actually fixing the problem.

I remember the ER doc who looked after me after I was hit by a car as a pedestrian. She was kind, caring, and very informative.
She was also stretched beyond reasonable means with how many patients were in the ED.
Very thankful for Dr. Stauffer.
