We had a great day hosting the US Ambassador in northern Alberta. The oil sands are a wonderful display of partnerships, economic growth, job creation and responsible resource development. Canada and the United States benefit greatly from the impact of the oil sands.
Big day yesterday touring Alberta's oilsands. Seeing @ImperialOil and @conocophillips operations up close reinforces why North American energy security matters. This is the kind of partnership that creates jobs and prosperity.
