What if we had therapies to extend healthspan and prevent the onset of age related diseases? I’m excited to announce my first @ARPA_H program, PROSPR. The goal is to develop validated surrogate biomarkers, new clinical endpoints and therapies to collectively extend healthspan
What if we could predict age-induced health issues before they happen? Our new PROSPR program aims to identify biochemical and physiological markers, paving the way for faster, more targeted aging research. https://t.co/0euJylCcwa

Happy to share this new publication from work done back in the day. Introducing “Hyperoidy”, the increase in muscle fibre volume, membrane surface area, and protein content leading to a larger cross-sectional area and greater force production, without myocyte fusion. Based on

Is Glp1 a longevity drug? There are two points here 1) the definition of a longevity drug and 2) is fat reduction a bona fida anti-aging mechanism. At the moment there is no formal accepted definition of a longevity drug, but from a personal perspective I would say a longevity

Excited to share some work that came out of my lab when I was at UCSF. Thanks to @UCSFstemcell @UCSFOrtho and @calico, We studied cellular dynamics and trajectories through single cell RNA Seq, heteromotility analysis and Cell Painting, to identify key regulators of stem cell

The commercial and regulatory market have incentiviized companies to go after muscle mass as a consequence of obesity regulated drugs. Sarcopenia is a serious problem in of itself. Go build the drugs that solve it.

A request: Let’s build with data. Please share your health and biomarkers before and after. There is a lot of uncertainty around these compounds. There is an opportunity here to levitate above the n of 1 experiment.
my latest peptide stack: BPC-157 (0.5mg daily) Thymosin alpha 1 (2mg every 3 days) Retatrutide (2mg once per week) SS-31 (10mg 5x per week) Semax (0.5mg as needed)

It is clear that sleep is important and many technologies advertise to promote deep sleep (which occurs primary in the earlier part of our sleep cycle). I’d like to know who is developing solutions targeting the latter part of sleep cycle REM stage of sleep, because that’s where

Another case of compounds impacting male and not females. This issue needs urgent inquiry. It was recently reported that different levels of canagaflozin was found in females and males, suggesting sex differences in drug metabolism. Could drug metabolism explain the majority of

We have published negative results, eg on RNA editing and aging in rats, also screens that came up empty. Science doesn't always work as expected and it’s important to share those so others avoid the same dead ends. Please see: https://t.co/imXDoOLL1S

I was asked my thoughts on the new approval of Forzinity-the first and only FDA approved treatment for Barth Syndrome. The approval for this rare disease is most importantly a massive win for the patients. Secondly it’s a success for the field of mitochondrial biology as it will
@BrackLab @KarlPfleger Seems really promising. Any thoughts?
