Observation from Jupiter.. 90-92mph does not phase high level HS hitters like it use to. The rise of the machines have made hitters more adaptable. I think the pendulum is about to swing back (if it hasn't already) to sinker/slider profiles, & guys who get ground balls.

Quick note If you are chasing velo right now and worrying about it you need to be lifting, sprinting, eating a ton right now The guys who chase velo in November usually don’t make it to May when it matters Just an observation based on the last 10 years

🚀 Jumping = Athletic Development Every hop, bound, and leap builds strength, speed, coordination, and resilience. 👉 Learn to jump. Learn to land. That’s the foundation for running faster, cutting sharper, and staying injury-free. 📚 Why Jumping Matters for Young Athletes

The best Strength and Conditioning Programs aren’t off-season programs… They are in-season programs. This is where you create the biggest advantage. If your athletes never stop training, they lap programs who only go hard for 6-9 months🙌🏻

@Bmac2507 Bingo. It’s the epitome of Simple, Not Easy. High volume of low intensity work. It ain’t sexy, and it takes time a lot of time to build it right. No shortcuts around that. Hard to gain, but also hard to lose.

@Bmac2507 Thank you! That was one great effort by your team! Really enjoyed catching with many of the guys I saw play JUCO over the years. That was truly pure baseball! Congrats to you and the Muskies on the title.

Tossing today for Beecher. I’ll have some good @coachburns25 wiffle ball career nuggets for the broadcast. Switch hitter with power. Contact was issue toward later stages of career tho.

Something wild I see is 14-16yr olds being taught that throwing any offspeed slightly up in the zone is a negative Then you see guys flick BS curveballs in the zone and go 6 shutout innings If you can read a swing. The top of the zone destroys guys with launch angle swings/not

Isn't it "ironic" that the healthiest athletes in any sport are the most WELL CONDITIONED. So why aren't Pitchers more focused on ARM CONDITIONING....i.e., Volume Throwing? Do Marathon runners prioritize sprints? CONDITION, CONDITION, CONDITION the Arm. Period. #EasyMath
