Gov has lots of responsibilities: supporting the vulnerable, helping people to help themselves, balancing the books. Not as simple as you to make out Marcus. Extending FSM to sch hols passes responsibility for feeding kids away from parents, to the State. It increases dependency.

Throughout the whole coronavirus process one of the most difficult things I think has been the amount of people calling for an end to using your common sense, and instead for Government officials to follow you with a tape measure at all times. How about personal responsibility.
What does 2 metres apart “where possible” mean? Shouldn’t it just be “2 metres apart”?
