This rich dataset allows us to infer relationships between states, link new proteins to states, and highlight differences between iPSC-microglia models. We anticipate this data will be useful to selectively drive microglial activation for mechanistic and translational research.

We uncovered both novel and predicted regulators of microglial states and chose 31 transcriptional regulators to study deeper with multimodal, single-cell analysis of the transcriptome and 166 surface proteins in two microglia differentiation approaches.
