Yes, this was a great meeting and wonderful hospitality. Thanks @MariaMMota2 and colleagues @GIMM_Institute I learnt about “macrophAGING” and “immunoneuroendocrine” aging. Thanks Claudio Franceschi! GIMM also had some inspiring videos which I hope they post.

How do we actually Make America Healthy Again?. It’s no secret that I’m not impressed by the recent push to remove food dyes, swap seed oils for tallow, or change the source of sugar in soda. Whenever I push back, I’m seeing a lot of the same response. “Well, at least it’s a step.

Most adult human diseases are caused by aging, over or poor nutrition, lack of exercise and combinations of. We can modulate these factors individually, but have little information on how to combat more than one together. Hence this study on rapamycin in aging + high fat diet.
