With this russian invasion?... It's time to join NATO. NATO never attacked Russia, it's meant to defend from it, due to the constant russian attitude since WW II. Ask Finland, and when Russia tried to invade them after WW II. Let Russia desmilitarize Kaliningrad, they never did.
