Divert those billions to things that will actually help people.
The rollout and messaging were bad.
But Uvalde, IN MY MIND, is just the most recent example of how defund/abolish doesn't seem so foolhardy after all. If cops are going to stand around when there's an active shooter, then be thwarted by a locked door, what good are they?
