I was a police officer in DC both during the protests and at the capitol on Jan. 6th. Jan 6th was by far more violent than the protests and I was struck with multiple American flags, thin blue line flags and Trump signs. Way more than just a “dust up” and that way of thinking ..

Here’s another example why Georgetown is a “dream job” .. Pros come in and out of their facilities. Recruits are seeing this now. Need to promote this as much as possible.

Forest were time wasting when they were up but by giving that time at the end it gave them time to grab a point when they were down. It’s rewarding them for time wasting earlier.

Seeing a lot of Massoud slander on the timeline .. I may be guilty of it earlier on in the season but as the season winds down, I just want to appreciate anyone who was willing to commit to this program while it’s at a low point. They should be commended for it.

I really like Fielder for the future, his positioning will get better with experience but he’s going to be a really good one. I wouldn’t be surprised if him and Sorber get the majority of minutes by BE play next year.

Caleb Williams’ Big East ready body and ability to not only play in the post but to extend and hit that elbow jumper consistently against high level competition makes him extremely valuable to the team next year and makes him a threat to start at the 4 and fill in at the 3.

This was always going to be a rebuilding year .. Cooley isn’t some rookie coach and that’s what he probably told future recruits as well. I know one thing coming from this year is that Williams, Sorber, McKenna, and Mulready will contribute right away next year.

Former DC cop here … I spent almost every waking moment at the plaza during that time, non of us were really offended about Bowser letting them paint that, we mostly understood the climate and what was needed to keep the city calm. I will say Bowser had out backs more than not.

I don’t think I’ve seen coaches hype up the conference as much as they have this year. Whether it’s in the huddles or press conferences. There had to have been a discussion in the pre-season about it.
Hurley: "These are not like SEC or ACC-type of games, either. This is a manhood test every time you step on the court in the Big East. It's UFC type (stuff). Like, steel cage. You can throw elbows, it's jujitsu, muay thai, it's everything."
