Many companies struggle to get impact from machine learning projects, so @mikeloukides and I wrote this guide: "What you need to know about product management for AI"

A product manager for AI does everything a traditional PM does, and much more.

This is why I'm not buying that AI is taking junior level jobs. Every company wants to be "AI fluent" and who's already that? Juniors. They aren't just fluent, they are "AI natives." I'm expecting more of what @sulmanrc's team at OpenAI is doing across the industry.

OpenAI has started to hire junior software engineers, and it's working great for them. This comes from me talking with Sulman Choudhry (Head of ChatGPT Engineering). They've started calling them "super juniors" b/c of their impact already More: https://t.co/CUEN28qgsu

we should not be voting for public defender, city attorney, DA, treasurer, school board etc. these should be mayoral appointments. our present system of low-information voters building a city's government ad hoc means nobody is ever in charge, and accountability is impossible.

LLMs are injective and invertible. In our new paper, we show that different prompts always map to different embeddings, and this property can be used to recover input tokens from individual embeddings in latent space. (1/6)

After reading many of the replies, we would like to issue a few clarifications: - we cannot extract training data from the model using our method - LLMs are not injective w.r.t. the output text, that function is definitely non-injective and collisions occur all the time -

When open-source robotics meets autonomy (and soon AI!) 🦾 Just mounted a SO-101 robotic arm (@huggingface + LeRobot by @RemiCadene) on my @PermobilGlobal wheelchair — powered by a Pi, battery & 3D-printed mount. Next step: integrate with SmolVLA or NVIDIA GR00T 🤖

Cursor 2.0's Browser feature is basically MS Paint for developers 😂 We're literally pointing at web pages and saying "yeah, I want to mess with that" and it just... works. Frontend dev just became as intuitive as doodling. Wild times we're living in.

I didn't believe it until I saw it: but it *really* works in open offices! This is ML engineer Menoua at @WisprFlow HQ, coding... by whispering into his mic (a BOYA Gooseneck that costs ~$70). I was standing next to him and heard nothing. Everyone in the office does the same

The reason people hate Zohran is because he’s a spoiled retarded communist. His parents are privileged, placeless global citizens and Zohran was able to float along without real jobs in NYC taking a swing at a ‘rap career’ while living in a Chelsea apartment owned by his mother.

Zohran’s scandals - said he was Asian/African American while being an Indian Ugandan - won’t apologize for using a phrase he didn’t use -95th percentile SATs - moved table from common area to dorm room in college - called female relative who is not his literal aunt “auntie”

Thank you to sooo many of you who made this happen 🔥 judge Begert knows he's under close scrutiny and conceded. In a case preceding mcalister, the deputy public defender complained why judge begert didnt grant diversion in her case when he just did in another similar case. Bc

Hand wave away the details, and assume your brain's neural network is also doing large matrix computations in some form. Interesting to consider you might be generating many possible sentences that collapse into the one you speak aloud at runtime for unknown reasons. Definitely

LLMs compute parallel valid outcomes in superposition until sampling collapses them to one. Here's Llama-3 doing addition + three translations in a SINGLE forward pass. We built parallel universe simulators and collapsed them into chatbots..

The decibel levels for BART rides are perpetually hovering around the Danger Zone for the human ear, and they regularly surpass it. Most people don’t know. Our local leadership doesn’t seem to care. The SF laissez-faire attitude towards, well – everything – is our biggest flaw.
