Man, the new Xed TweetDeck design is awful. @elonmusk must have fired all the designers. And why repeat that awful GMAIL "pop up an ID card when the mouse is over a handle" botch? That card always obscures exactly what you want to read.

lololol I have never experienced more harassment on this platform than I do now. People now pay to give their harassment more visibility. The de-verification of journalists, civic orgs, and figures has made it impossible to follow conversations. I wish it could be usable again

Just read that Tweetdeck will only be available to verified users. If so, it's been good to know you. (Frankly, I'm surprised it has taken this long.)

The Headline isn't "AI may kill us all someday." The Headline is "people & institutions use AI to cause a wide range of harm TODAY and we have to stop them." Bonus: fixing REAL HARMS right now happens to ALSO be the best approach to mitigating long term risk of more harm.
