in the fan media were *vital* in terms of keeping us informed throughout the whole saga, and kudos to them for doing that. They left a lot of the more established media in the dust.
Fan media gave us more information about what was going on this year than regular media. What I think should happen, ANY media who break the accreditation/media rules should get a harsher penalty than just getting their pass revoked. Maybe a ban for a few years?

I struggled through life and the world for 35 years before I finally got confirmed as autistic, and when I did, it actually lifted a massive overbearing weight from my shoulders. Eternally grateful for that! โค๏ธ

It does say a lot that autistic people (and neurodiverse people in general) are the ones having to adapt themselves just to be noticed and acknowledged (and most importantly, accepted and included) by wider mainly-neurotypical society. Itโs even more the case in LGBT societyโฆ

Actually love how Croatia with 0 wins is currently the favourite to win over this group of 14 countries who make up 70% of all Eurovision wins with a song that wouldn't have even competed in its NF if someone didn't withdraw

And the irony here is that Gustaph had to beat Tom Dice in the Belgian selection first (and did so by ONE point) to even get to Eurovision!

A lot still needs to happen in terms of understanding of autism and neurodiversity in general, particularly in the LGBT+ space. It is still very much a neurotypically dominated community, and there is still much work to be done around LGBT-neurodiverse intersectionality.
