6 Years ago today i received the call that i had tested HIV+. While my whole life seemed to stop for 5 a few weeks i quickly decided that i wasn't going to let it stop me being me, and decided to stick 2 fingers up at it and tell it i was going to live my life my way!

6 years on and i'm healthy and undetectable, i'm happy and i'm getting married next year to the man of my dreams! When life gives you lemons, add them to a gin and tonic and carry on!
Oh and if you dont know your status test! It might very well save your life!

So I got bored. And creative! - 4 layer Orange cake with a cointreau infusion separated by a mascarpone orange buttercream all containing a hidden cave of mini eggs!
Then wrapped and coddled in a Swiss meringue butter cream icing and topped with a lemon grass and 2nd egg cave!

Regardless of your beliefs. I had a horrendous time at school, I hated who I was, I didn’t understand who I was. I was bullied. But if I had been taught it was ok to be who I was, a man who is attracted to men, my education may have been so very different.

What’s the debate? We Exist, we’re not going to stop existing, and any child growing up should have what we did not, the knowledge and teaching in a safe environment aka school that it is ok to be LGBTQ if that’s how you identify. School was the worst for me because of no support
