For his 70th birthday, I hired an author to write my dad’s biography. It was a huge project, and countless hours were spent interviewing him and those around him, including friends/colleagues that we had never heard of before. It was a masterpiece. Best money I ever spent.

I know it’s my business, but nothing touches me more than family members wanting to honor their elderly. If you can’t afford my prices, I’m happy to work with you as I can. I don’t like to watch people pass without their legacy being recorded strictly for a lack of funds.

In 2018 I interviewed mom, gathering stories of mafia Vegas. All those folks are gone now. When mom passed in February, I was so grateful to have her book. Even one year later I would not have been able to get her stories. Health problems are a memoirist’s biggest nemesis.

There are many secrets in the memoir world. So I can tell you that one of my clients just had our book optioned for a play—and the table reading takes place in October—but I can't yet tell you who it is. But you will hear our opening night celebration from wherever you are.

@1chrismcg I happen to like owner carry scenarios as a buyer. Have successfully executed two of them. Have been able to buy and resell for twice what I bought it for under an owner carry. I’m appreciative of this method and if done well by the buyer, it’s a strong win-win for both parties.
