If you are in PE, bought a trade business in So Cal with no operational know how and are over your head... DMs open
Agree with this, obviously, as [a former] operations-focused CEO of PE-backed platforms. 🙂 The days of smashing together and betting on expansion as the primary source of returns….while may still be there….are dwindling. If you can’t operate….there is a greater likelihood

Let me say the quite part out loud - 99.8% of all cash (and there is a lot of it) in the construction trades goes into the owners pocket How do you think all those toys get paid for? Noble not to accept cash - but cash discounts is actually the norm in real life I dont make
We don't accept cash Requires delivery to office Necessary for more internal controls & chain of custody tracking Then you have to deposit cash… in person it gets "lost" We stopped accepting cash from customers in 2023.

This "kid" is worth a follow. (he is young) We have DM'd, he is real and will drop the anon in the future, he has a good reason to be anon. I am loving these posts personally, you might too. You might even find a deal you like from him
Day 7 of posting a deal analysis every day until I get a new job🧵. Have a chat with a global group today and at work we are trying to close 5 deals today... glad to get this one out early. Today we are heading to New Haven to explore an obvious lease-up value-add strategy.
