Twitter is the one place where people will talk about mental health while simultaneously engaging in some of the most hateful and judgmental bs on the internet 💀💀
@DB_8721
@ClayTravis
Wait until you find out that black adopted kids have experienced racism. Even in their own families. Don’t let that get in the way of your narrative though
@YoSoyFiestaaa
@ClayTravis
He’s saying that black people have historically had to behave a certain way to be accepted in “white spaces.” This is something black people have discussed for decades. Some are even able to code switch. Read a black history book
Rex Ryan really wanted that job 😂
Bro is disgusted by what he’s seeing from the Broncos defense 💀
Also kudos to him for pointing out that the Russell Wilson + Sean Payton offense is heading in the right direction. Educate the public 🗣️
@BelleRideaux
@DoreenCaven
This is perfect and I totally agree. When you envision parenting, you have to envision it being imperfect in every way. Doing it on your own, getting little sleep, possibly having a sick child. If you can't envision managing any of those things you'll probably struggle.
@itssnyawan
@akua_hp
Parents have a tendency to repeat whatever happened to them as kids, usually because they lack self awareness to realize their own flaws.
It's lazy parenting, plain and simple. Some people don't like being told "how" to parent but some really do need to be told how
@wolves2025chmps
@LakeShowYo
Yall really think all there is to a loving relationship is being rich and in shape.
This is a true sign that yall have ZERO chance of being in a healthy relationship. Everrr lmaoo 💀💀💀
@JadoreSiwoh
This isn’t a popular opinion but some people can’t make it through on their own. And sometimes a loving relationship can help you through that
@Dwiggins89
@shamrocks46
@ClayTravis
I hate to break it to you, but black people felt like this in the 90s as well. It’s just that, you either didn’t have enough black friends, never involved yourself in the black community, or had a black person be vulnerable with you
@aye_drey
@TobyObumseli
@CourtneyTailor
Posting someone’s past record or tweets to justify murder will always be interesting to me. Ppl have some really messed up souls.
I wouldn’t care if a BW went on a twitter rant about her preference for WM. Someone was murdered and it was wrong. We’re too desensitized to death.
Sean Payton :
- Calls a failed screen
- Calls a failed run on 2nd down.
- Asks Russ to convert on 3rd and long.
Everyone: “What is Russ doing!?!?”
Even at his worst, Russell Wilson has never played in an offense this limited. Schottenheimer or Waldron would be doing better.
@_nosferatuu
@ElbowPuncher
@nojumper
Color is def the problem here. If she was lighter or slimmer no one would be going out of their way to tear her down.
It's amazing to see the level some of you will go to be a POS. Not only is she not unattractive, let people exist without getting off your sick bullying fetish.
@NickMarsh123
@ClayTravis
You sound very convincing.
Do you have a lot of black people in your life? If so, you’d understand what Kaepernick is referring to. That yes, there is an “acceptable black” which is why code switching exists.
@SeeMeWitDaHandz
@thekofic
@pierrefleury_
Because the boys, at that young of an age are rapping about being tough/violent. Hyper masculinity being promoted in black boys and men is a thing
@DeeLaSheeArt
Yea this is demented. And traumatizing. Just horrible parenting.
Some people are convinced their children have to suffer as much as they did.
@jennylhawkins
@gurlwithaphone
We cannot all save ourselves. A lot of you are projecting your own strong feelings of “doing it on your own” when the truth is many people need support that they’ve never gotten. And sometimes a person does save us. It’s not their responsibility but we have to be honest.
@REDSEASHAWTY
We were never meant to be alone. All of these people talking about “all you need is yourself”…and to do everything on your own have just taken it to the extreme. We all need support systems to be our best selves.
@thoughtfulbae
Half of the people yelling free speech were against Kaepernick kneeling and get angry when there’s a Black Lives Matter protest. They’re trying to paint Elon Musk as some hero when really, they’re just happy Trump may come back.
Plus they can spread hate speech unfiltered.
@pluto13xx
@FentyCop
No we can, black women being successful in a society stacked against them is absolutely something to root for. You all want the system changed but you can’t change anything without power
@gregizzo1
@ClayTravis
The entire series shows white people mistreating him because of his race. And him seeing confederate flags. So yea, makes sense he’d question himself especially when his white family overlooked racism
@laurai_
Those couples always last because you can usually tell it’s not just sex, but deep love for each other. They want to be in each other’s skin 😭
One day I’ll do a Ted Talk about the minor criticism a Matt Ryan, Matthew Stafford, and Philip Rivers gets, versus the excess scrutiny Kyler Murray, Russell Wilson and Lamar Jackson get for their failures. And it will result in a lot of denial. But good for Stafford nonetheless
Russell Wilson in 2023 :
3200 yards, 29 TDs, 8 Ints, 47% conversion rate on 3rd downs.
I can think of about 5 teams that may sign up for that. A coach that brings Russ in will likely trust and believe in him. Sean Payton never did.
Curious to see what's next for him.
@laxitivez
@jiggyjayy2
I see we’ve graduated from criticizing black men for never praising black women, to criticizing black men for praising black women despite being young and not falling in love with one (yet).
If Zoe Saldana said this about black men my instinct wouldn’t be negative
@NickMeny
@ClayTravis
White parents that overlooked the racism he experienced, hated that he dated a black girl, and called him a thug for wearing braids
@snaket0ngue
@keatingssixth
The sad part is that habit is usually obvious from young. It’s sad you can tell a future shitty person before they’re even adults yet
Russell Wilson game winning touchdown vs the Vikings in 2020.
Russell Wilson game winning touchdown vs the Vikings tonight in 2023.
If you hate on one of the best dual threat QBs of all time I feel sorry for you. Great win for
#broncoscountry
@DB_8721
@ClayTravis
Evil is a good look on you.
No need to argue. Just embrace the fact that you don’t see black ppl as human beings. If you were intelligent and objective, you would want to explore what black adopted kids experience and address the issue. You’d rather spit in the face of it
@diahmEvans
@lilmiss_jordan
Lil Durk is alive because his father didn't snitch. After likely being in gangs since he was a teenager himself. Grown men in gangs literally start out as child soldiers. It's a cycle.
I don't think I'm being hyperbolic when I say...there has never been a QB that has accomplished as much, and has been as disregarded as Russell Wilson. Despite the numbers, circumstances he's succeeded in, there is definitely a bias in who prominent voices choose to root for.
@DrLU6702
@amarachiiii_
We live in a society where men expect women to be traditional and non-traditional at the exact same time.
Wanting sex before marriage.
Wanting wife duties before marriage.
Truth is you will never be in a healthy relationship. This isn’t how a good person treats their partner
@DRollen612
@AravantinosDA
World champions. See how easy that is??
The only WORLD championship events are the Olympics, and the FIBA and FIFA World Cup.
@TJMoe28
You seem like the kind of guy who thought the founding of HBCUs was “racist.”
People like you casually exclude black people in your hiring, who you recognize or praise, etc...while claiming you have no biases. We no longer care for your approval or acceptance.
@_BarringtonII
@Blackmillions_
No one implied that. He's being criticized for focusing on stereotypes instead of uplifting people. A black young man from a single home should have an equal opportunity to prove themselves and succeed. Not be stereotyped and dismissed. Yall worse than white supremacists.
Matthew Stafford had the number 2 defense and Megatron..and got bounced out of the 1st round by the Cowboys 💀
The idea he never had anything ever in Detroit is a myth. He joined a playoff team with a genius coach. Never compare him to Russell Wilson who has carried worse teams
@meauxbey
@jaxajueny
This isn’t even about being a real man or woman. Change the tweet to “my woman comes before my kids” and it would spark another debate. There are people who believe in this trickle down concept of marriage.
@ClayTravis
He’s not “going after” them. He’s pointing out that black people often have to “code switch” or appear “non-black” to avoid being stereotyped and to be accepted. God forbid having a “black name” too. If you cared about EVERY American you’d discuss this in good faith.
@BronGotGame
@Phil_Lewis_
My guy you need to step out of your bubble. They don’t use the same logic in any other sport. Guess what league the best soccer players in the world play in? It’s not the MLS.
Now guess what they call themselves? Not the world champions. They wait til the WORLD cup for that 😂
@JCSpeiser
@barstoolsports
I hate to break it to you but Juwann has a right to walk freely without getting grabbed. If Gard lets him go about his business no fight ever happens.
@Soulful1865
@AustinMeghanST
@Ras_Mixx
No, they're just not nut job extremists lol. The vast majority of black americans don't align with the FBA/ADOS cult, and your weird hatred of immigrants.
@Col_Cornpone
@crawlings13
Trevor Noah once said the United States is 50 countries masquerading as one and that has never left me. It will never not be bizarre.
@STFUDIARA
If the person is trying to get to know you first before making their attraction to you known I think that's basic psychology. Depends on how honest/open with communication they are. As long as they also respect just remaining friends when told no. Everyone is different though
@RGIII
Yep exactly. Criticizing Russ' play is totally fine. Totally flame him on that especially for last night.
The personal attacks tho are eye opening. In some ways, I'm glad when things like this happen so that you can see how people really think.
@jcrxci
I love this and I've done the same. People are so afraid of being played instead of just being vulnerable and diving in 1000%.
Pour into people you love without viewing it as a transaction. If they're right for you, more often than not it'll work out for the best anyway. 👑
The thing that always gets missed from this conversation, is how unprovoked the hostility in that Seahawks locker room was.
Everything from Russ not being black enough, to openly disrespecting and targeting him was allowed. Even Brandon Marshall said as much.
Hate is a strong word. I genuinely hate people like you who don’t care for, fairness and consistency.
Peyton Manning brought his family to training camp. He’s had an office before, among other privileges. Just like other QBs. You simply don’t see Russell Wilson as a HUMAN being.
Russell Wilson isn’t a leader. The foolishness that went on in his first year at Denver with a private coach, his own office at the facility, and family at training camp when other players didn’t have those privileges, proved his self centeredness.
@venusxjay
@infernorisivg
Usually when a person abandons their friends or family members for someone they’re in love with, there’s history there. No one really talks about the trauma and pain some women experience from friends/family. And sometimes a man (or woman) comes along and fills that gap.
@sisihunni
@uhjahnuh
The literal definition of cognitive dissonance. Shows that people really do have deep rooted biases.
And while I fully support legalizing cannabis it's still a drug lol
@freemybbc
@___inCANdescent
Chris Brown, Majah Hype, Dr. Dre. You can say they maybe lost fans/fame but their lives aren’t “ruined.” If anything the victim usually gets the brunt of the bashing, especially if the victim isn’t famous
@reneevalentine
@MamasatHome_
A masters degree is not a measurement of good parenting lol. There are men with masters degrees who are immature, toxic, misogynistic, and incapable of having a healthy relationship. Yall seriously have to grow up.
@rgneill
@NickMarsh123
@ClayTravis
Your mami sounds like a nice person but respectfully, doesn’t sound that exposed.
People are mistreated because of race everyday. To have compassion is to explore it and put all facts on the table. Instead of denying everything because you hate the topic of racism
@oscarrr1990
@saddie_baddies
That’s especially difficult on Twitter. I can mute and only follow certain people and still come across toxic stuff on the TL.
