One of the hardest things about miscarriage is the milestone dates that are never reached. Today, my second baby should have turned two years old. I always eat cake on my babies' 'could-have-been birthdays', but this year I ate it on the beach and it was heartbreaking but lovely.

Actually on Emirates you do pay for seats now up until 48 hrs before the flight when they open up remaining seats for free. She might be OCD/gets anxious, so paid in advance for that particular seat through her Emirates account. You don't know her situation so don't act entitled.

Some of us have such severe cramps that normal painkillers simply don't work. The only thing that works for me is codeine, but then that makes me drowsy and I lose focus on what I'm doing. And there are women who have PCOS and endometriosis who have it far worse than me.

At the hospital they said I was lucky to not have any internal bleeding on the brain as apparently that's another common female crash injury due to us having to sit further forward to reach the pedals and the steering wheel airbag being too forceful for it.
