The word for what Sam Altman is is "misanthropic." He hates people, and he sees the arrays of transistors and logic gates he works with as intrinsically more valuable than human life. Its fun to gawk at, but this kind of person is fundamentally and legitimately dangerous.
This guy truly does not believe in the existence of human beings. Totally unrecognizable anthropology at work here.

Israel has absolutely normalized killing the people you are absolutely NEVER supposed to kill during wartime. Insanity

Just so that we are clear, Israel drops criminal charges on five Israeli soldiers who were caught on camera sexually assaulting a Palestinian detainee. But Israel will keep kids in prison for decades because they were throwing rocks? Make it make sense 🤦🏽♀️

When the flag covered coffins start coming home (and they will), and these people try and do the usual thing and be solemn and pretend we had no choice but to do this, that this was a serious decision not lightly taken, etc. I think people will remember this shit

“Israeli spies coached a U.S. Senator to talk the President into war” sounds like an insane conspiracy theory except that the Senator is bragging about it.
WSJ: To help make the case on Iran, Graham traveled several times to Israel in recent weeks, meeting with members of the country’s intelligence agency. “They’ll tell me things our own government won’t tell me,” he said. He spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,

Few others in the president’s ear argued for the attack as effectively as South Carolina’s senior senator.

So it’s good for people to dance when their leaders die right? You like that? You think thats a good thing? For future reference

@alaynatreene So this wasn’t an imminent threat to the United States it was a threat to Israel. American soldiers’ lives and American taxpayers’ money were put on the line for Netanyahu’s regional ambitions.

As an Iranian, shut the fuck up. No one is celebrating here. Everyone is scared and is trying to escape somewhere safe. So many innocent people already died including young students who were at school during the bombing. People are grieving. People like you deserve the worst
If you’re not Iranian, shut the fuck up. Iranians are celebrating and crying tears of joy right now. Long live Iran 🇮🇷❤️

He's not just defending AI energy use. He is smuggling in a whole anthropology where humans are basically inefficient meat computers that you have to pour food and years into before they become useful. And once you accept that, the next move is obvious. If people are just costly
🚨 SAM ALTMAN: “People talk about how much energy it takes to train an AI model … But it also takes a lot of energy to train a human. It takes like 20 years of life and all of the food you eat during that time before you get smart.”

I, apparently a naive idiot, had assumed that this was what “we background check our drivers” always meant.
Sources: Uber is moving to bar drivers with convictions for violent felonies, sexual offenses, and child or elder abuse, after an NYT report in December 2025 (@emilysteel / New York Times) https://t.co/12AEcTdNVt

Extremely funny that the Union diss track on Dixie goes harder than Dixie does. "Oh way down south in the land of traitors, rattlesnakes and alligators" "each Dixie boy must understand that he must mind his Uncle Sam" "I wish I was in Baltimore I'd make secession traitors roar"
Crazy how much "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" dunks on "Dixie" as a war anthem. Hearing "As He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free" has me wanting to run through a wall. What do you mean the Confederate ballad was "I wish I was in Dixie, Hooray! Hooray!"

Giannis made up a rumor that he would leave the Bucks, causing people to bet a total of $23M as to whether/where he would go on Kalshi, an unregulated gambling/insider trading platform. He stays in Milwaukee, and comes out today as a Kalshi stakeholder.

Meet Michael Rubin. He's the reason all of your team's merchandise is cheaply made trash. He's the reason every league's jerseys are pure shit. He's the reason everything you buy lasts 4 washes. A true inspiration.
Meet Michael Rubin He turned $2,500 in Bar Mitzvah money into Fanatics, a $30 Billion sports powerhouse. Born in 1972 to a Jewish family in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, Rubin showed entrepreneurial drive early. • At 12, he started a ski-tuning shop in his parents’ basement.

Yeah I know why you hate the WBC, but it’s fun for those with teams who don’t suck
@Shawn_Spradling @SubwayToShea I just as well they do away with the whole thing. It’s an unnecessary risk of injuries for players
