@tobiaschneider @matthew_petti The point is that if Zionists had taken 'pragmatism' as a limit on their ambitions, it would have been aborted long before they got to 48. There were plently of 'least worst options' offered to them before then; they held out until the 'least worst option' was acceptable.

People were accusing Israel of genocide immediately after 7/10, even before the ground operation had begun on 27th. Anyone would think the genocide narrative was already in place ready to be deployed.
