“Why should Bama be punished for playing in the Championship when other SEC teams stayed home?” Because they might have snagged a top 4 seed with a win. That’s how football works, it’s fun to play and good if you win.

Alabama is now guaranteed to finish with more CFP bids this year (0 or 1) than rushing yards today (-3).

The correct answer to the last 2 spots in at 9 & 10 is Miami, Notre Dame, in that order. Sorry if this bothers you.

Alabama is going to be mostly flinging it from here on out, so there’s a decent chance they finish with as many CFP bids (1) as rushing yard today (1).

Alabama has scored a point at the SEC Championship. This should give the Committee all the cover they need to slip them in the back door.

BYU performed far better than Alabama has today. If BYU drops and Alabama doesn’t, that will tell you everything you need to know.

If Alabama can’t score a point, they do not belong in the College Football Playoff.

If Alabama doesn’t score a point today, sorry, they’re just not a Playoff team. Would solve the Notre Dame-Miami discussion entirely!

We're live from Charlotte, NC for the 2025 ACC Championship Game! Huge playoff implications for two different teams in Virginia. Duke is playing for their first outright ACC title since 1962 (last shared in '89), while UVA goes for its first ever (last shared in '95)

A team that currently competes at the FCS level from outside of the Dakotas has not won a National Championship since Eastern Washington in 2010. Dakota teams went 1-3 today, Yotes still alive!

Opted for a TD to go up 50-29 instead of kneeling it out because why not. 😅

Montana had 2nd & 1 from the SDSU 6 to let them kneel it out for a win, looked like they wouldn’t get it, and then got across one with a good old fashioned rugby scrum for 4 extra yards.
