My company just hired a new product manager. It's a Boston Dynamics robot, powered by GPT-4. It immediately came in and started filming day in the life Tik Tok videos of the office. It's so over.

Do not enable him with his own platform then.. Oh wait. Didn’t you and your buddies helping with the Twitter take-over enable exactly this kind of speech finding an audience? The massive amount of hate speech that is back on Twitter can physically harm many more.

I’m sure there was a huge untapped innovation potential under the previous leadership, but this amount of chaos at a platform that has such influence is a really big shift in the wrong direction.

I had my ‘15 year’ anniversary on Twitter a couple of days ago. I’ve never been the least excited about the future of this platform. Besides the quality fading, the erratic ‘leadership’ is a terrible outlook for what is to come.

Ultimately people just want to be understood and have a desire to connect with others. As a human species we have a long way to go on figuring out a medium that can facilitate this. the rocket & electric car man for sure is not the right person to lead this.
