The problem with this thesis is that when people do create great art with AI they won't admit it was created with AI.
I listened to the 100% AI-generated band on Spotify that has everyone concerned. Reinforces my belief about creativity in the age of AI:. AI is excellent at creating average things. There'll always been room for humans to make magical things.

Pretty clear Google doesn't have a clue where search is heading. They're at the mercy of users' preferences in an unchartered new world while also trying to remain risk averse. Not a great place to be for any business used to having everything their own way for so long.

Google's business model is broken. There's no proven case for serving ads against AI generated results. Search ads make up 57% of Google's revenue. Another 10% is from clicks on third-party websites to which Google no longer sends traffic. Why would anyone click on an ad when AI.

Perplexity going after Bloomberg is as delusional as Perplexity going after Google. It's just a nice story to tell investors.
Perplexity keeps saying they are attempting to replicate Bloomberg Terminal at 1% of the cost, so I decided to pay for the pro version and give it a try. Its probably better than using Yahoo Finance, but anyone with real investing experience will quickly recognize that it lacks.
