Working on a new app and don’t want to give too much away but one thing I’m really excited about is automatically assigning SF Symbols based on what the user types. A rare example of non-GPT machine learning 😄

If you’re a social app that requires contact sharing, don’t market to techies. They’ll tear you apart for it. Instead market to everyone outside of the bubble and you’ll improve your chances. Heard about Lapse from my non-tech friends and we all use it daily and have no problem.
Both of these are (very well-designed) social apps which rely on hard walls and access to contacts in their onboarding to amplify k-factor. why has their reception been so different?
