Restrictions have been reduced from 6% to only 3%! Expected to remain through the weekend. With clear skies and full ATCs we expect nearly normal operations. Thank you ATC

None of the four major airlines have cancelled the required 6% for tomorrow yet. That may mean they’re expecting an update, but if the mandate remains, cancellations will likely come in later today. If you’re on a regional flight tomorrow, keep an eye on it.

Yesterday’s performance looked pretty good, and today should be similar since we’re not seeing many ATC staffing triggers. We also haven’t seen any Saturday cancellations published yet, which is potentially a good sign.

Cancellation numbers today are similar to yesterday, hovering around 4% overall. ATC staffing triggers continue to trend down and remain far lower than a week ago. Hopefully that means the FAA will be able to ease mandated cancellations soon.

Woohoo! - Stellar performance today (4.1% cancellations / 11% disruptions) - As we hoped, FAA mandate has been reduced to 6% - So we avoided a meltdown last weekend and avoided provoking one this weekend (at 10%) - And ATC gets paid! A++. Now let’s fix ATC pay for good. 🇺🇸

Only 2 staffing constraints. ATC is baaack! - Cancellations 4.0% - Snowstorm should stay north of NYC All eyes are on quick backpay. Quick backpay → ATC working now → reduce safety concerns → maybe reduce 10% mandated cancels this weekend → avoid the chance of a mess

Really hopeful ATC shows up strong again tomorrow. Today Cancellations 5.6% Disruptions 21% Look for strong ATC and a clear firm backpay plan tomorrow – so the 10% cancellation mandate over the weekend could be reconsidered.

ATC has only 3 low staffing triggers. Disruptions = 20%. Yday was 45%. Cancellations = 5.5%. Yday was 10%. They managed to cut it in HALF from yesterday and added near-zero cancellations beyond the mandate. Just incredible work by airlines and ATC.

Still looking good. 5.5% cancellations 17% total disruptions ATC staffing and/or less flights seem to be the difference. Thank you ATC! Ending under 25% disruptions would be incredible after 45% yesterday.

Today is looking hopeful! - ATC staffing is up. Backpay in the bill is super. - DCA and IAD look clear – for Congress to fly in for the vote. - Cancellations 5.5%. Ideally can stay <10% We need solid recovery today + good ATC staffing tmrw → so FAA can lower/remove 8-10% cut.

Today turned out barely better (as we said) but "better" is the key! 10.0% Cancelled AA 10.9% DL 11.4% UA 10.4% WN 6.4% Thankfully DL cancels slowed down. Another 15%+ would have been dicey. Tomorrow increases to 6% mandated. We'll be watching if they can hold ~10%.

Any ATC controllers on here? Will your coworkers return to work tomorrow, wait for President to sign, wait for backpay, wait for something else? DMs Open. Anonymity guaranteed.

Senate passed the bill! Hopefully House passes it Wednesday. Then President the same or next day. But more importantly ATC controllers return to work tomorrow (🙏) or Wednesday — knowing they’ll get paid. We really need to avoid the 8% and 10% mandated cuts on Thursday and

Delta is hanging in there! AA, UA, and WN basically couldn't reduce cancellations today – which is a bad sign. 15-20% cancellations drive meltdowns. DL ending today 11-12% would be great. But if mandated cuts 2x as planned, this will be much harder for them.

Today is baaad news – it shows improvement may not be possible. Thus with more cuts Tues,Thur, Fri – a meltdown will happen. We've crossed into do not fly unless you can handle high chance of disruption, sitting 3hr on tarmac, getting stuck at a connection/destination, etc.

Dammmn, the Major 4 airlines are not recovering very well. On pace for like yesterday. :( Cancellations: 1,909 vs 2,370 yday (9.2 vs 11.2%) Delays: 6,010 vs 8,772 yday (29% vs 41%) They were able to make up much ground. Not good for tomorrow's 6% mandate.
