Recently cared for a pregnant woman who was beside herself with anxiety due to untreated pain, 'they said I can only have Tylenol because I'm pregnant'. It happened in a different ER.

Nope. A little physically slower and not as fit as I was as a lad, but still here and still in the game!

I apologized for someone else's lack of knowledge, treated her pain, fixed her issue and she couldn't have been happier.
Don't leave patients in pain, there are many many safe ways to treat pain in pregnant women beyond Tylenol. (Even the IV version).

Recently in the ER we were expecting a patient with CPR in progress. I absentmindedly asked ‘do we have the Thumper’?
This caused mirth and merriment in the resus room staff, they knew I meant the Lucas (CPR) machine and thought I’d come up with a funny name for it.
