Skip Schumaker wears 55 because of Orel Hershiser. He met Orel at a restaurant when he was a kid and after talking to him, Orel autographed something for Skip and signed it “To a future Dodger…” Skip, ironically, years later become a Dodger.

Not saying Mac Jones has been amazing for SF but the success he is having is both a credit to Kyle Shanahan but a further indictment against Bill who just gave up on him. Bill has too many SBs for his legacy to be tarnished but the last few years have raised some questions!
