Is the A.I. industry writing checks the power industry can't cash? Numbers are astronomical.

I know and agree. Also San Diego is not LA. More like Philly and NY. Close but different places.
@SullyCNBC The NFL wasn’t in LA for 20 years. Football fans in the area found other teams to root for.

JMU wait listed my application back when we filled them out with ink and a quill pen
I'm old enough to remember when JMU was just a valley town school on 81 with a decent ski resort. You applied there, UVa, VaTech and Radford was your safety school. Look at them now. They're all growns up. #CFP2025 cc: @SullyCNBC

They beat Notre Dame head to head so Miami gets in. Alabama is the weird one. I was (gladly) wrong about Ohio State rolling everyone. At this point I'm rooting for JMU because they are the least "pro" of the "pro light" teams.

Facebook changed its name to Meta when it turned its focus to the Metaverse. Now Meta is trimming the Metaverse. Anyone remember when people were spending millions of real dollars on fake land? New Coke moment?

Private data like the Zeta Economic Index (ZEI) is particularly unique and valuable these days as official data from gov't still lagging and/or not as detailed. Tune in friends!
Lots of Zeta data to discuss today. Looking forward to joining @SullyCNBC on @CNBC at 2:45PM ET today. LG 🚀 🚀 🚀

Some central banks likely used that paper when making economic projections about the future. Sadly, bad data from just one country - Uzbekistan - infected the results and made the still-bad seem catastrophic. Scientific papers are changed or retracted fairly often but for
"In April 2024, the prestigious journal Nature released a study finding that climate change would cause far more economic damage by the end of the century than previous estimates had suggested... On Wednesday, Nature retracted it." https://t.co/GfekOq1rLE
